Wengen, Switzerland

The ski resort Wengen is located in the Swiss canton of Bern, and here you will find most of what you need to know about Wengen. The season in Wengen normally starts in end November to mid April.

Wengen has pistes totaling 102 kilometer, of which 33 kilometer are blue easy pistes, 56 kilometer red and slightly more challenging slopes, and 13 kilometer black and more difficult pistes. The fastest way to get to Wengen is normally by plane, unless you don't live nearby. The airport Belp, Bern is only 47 kilometers from Wengen, which is an advantage as there are more transfer options and the travel time is shorter. Other alternative airports that are possible to fly to are Lugano Airport (101 kilometers distance), as well as Zürich International Airport, Zurich (106 kilometers from the ski resort).
