Because of the short distance, the transfer time is shorter and the cost is normally lower than when there is a big distance. Other alternative airports that are possible to fly to are Bolzano Airport (72 kilometers distance), as well as Allgäu Airport/Memmingen (127 kilometers from the ski resort).
