The area is of mid-size and offers around 20 ski slopes. The highest peak measure 1,310 meters above sea level. Total ski track length is about 25 kilometers. For those who are keen on playing around there is a good snowpark and usually a half pipe.

There are also good cross-country skiing tracks if you feel like sweating for a bit. There are 75 kilometers of tracks to have a go at!

The only drawback of skiing in the Czech Republic is the standard of rental equipment. We recommend that you bring your own to make sure you have what you need. The quality of the rental equipment is picking up, but still not up to the Western Europe standards.

When you feel tired after a long day of skiing, have an after-ski at one of the cozy bars and relax before dinner. There are numerous good bars, restaurants and discos.

In order to get to Spindleruv Mlyn you will need to travel to Prague and continue by bus or taxi. You could also rent a car.
