How do get to Saas-Fee by air?

If you want to fly to Switzerland and then continue to Saas-Fee you basically have three equivalent options: Geneva, Basel Mulhouse or Zurich. From all these three airports the transfer time would be around 3 to 4 hours by train and bus. However, if you prefer shuttle bus, rental car or taxi to get to Saas-Fee, Geneva is the better option. The drive from Geneva Airport is just below 3 hours, whereas from Basel Mulhouse and Zurich Airport, the drive is up to 4 hours.

Does Saas-Fee have a train station?

Considering Saas-Fee is a car-free ski resort, and many ski resorts in Switzerland have their own train station, you would maybe think so, but actually they don't. You can however take a train to town of Stalden-Saas, and from there go by bus to Saas-Fee, which is a just below 30-minute ride. Normally the bus departs every 30 minutes. Another feasible option is train to the town Visp, and then take a 45-minute bus ride from Visp to Saas-Fee.

Can I park my car in connection with Saas-Fee?
