Les Trois Vallees, France

Les Trois Vallees (The Three Valleys) is normally counted as the second largest ski area in the world, following Les Portes du Soleil.
This area is located in the Savoie region of the French alps and holds, among others, popular ski resorts such as Courchevel, Meribel and Val Thorens. Other resorts are La Tania, Brides-les-Bains, Les Menuires and St Martin de Belleville, not as famous but with excellent skiing.
In total, you will find 600 kilometers of ski pistes and 185 ski lifts in Les Trois Vallees.
