Breuil-Cervinia, Italy

Just below the world renowned peak of Matterhorn, you will find the Italian resort of Breuil-Cervinia. It is considered to be the largest and most beautiful of the Italian ski resorts. This resort is well suited both for beginners as well as more experienced skiers. Even though there are good options for very experienced skiers, moderate skiers will appreciate this resort the most. Altogether there are 53 kilometers of ski pistes. The resort is located on high altitude so you can ski even during the summer. Normally however the most active season is between November and April.

Travelling to Breuil-Cervinia

The closest airport is located in Turino (Casell), 118 kilometers away. The airports of Milan are also a good choice. Milan Malpensa is located 160 kilometers away and Milan Linate 180 kilometers away. If you arrive by train, the closest train stop is found in Chatillon, 27 kilometers from the ski resort.

A large variety of ski pistes of various difficulty

In total there are 58 ski pistes in the area. Most of the slopes are targeted at moderate skiers. However, some pistes will be challenging also for experienced skiers. The ski pistes of Beruil-Cervinia suit all. There are slopes both for children, moderate skiers and experienced skiers. If you feel like it, you can also try heli-skiing.
If you like cross-country skiing, there is a 13 km ski track available.

Action-oriented activities

For those who love action and want to do more than ski, there is a snowpark in Breuil-Cervinia. The ski resort is located on quite high altitude, so there is snow most year around on the glaciers.
For visitors who like staying up late, there are several bars and discos to choose from. Since the resort is well-known it does get quite crowded.
